I spent the whole day sleeping yesterday, suffering from a really bad migraine, which is still lingering somehow this morning... but splitting or not, I still have to come in to work today, which was good, because a colleague came back from Japan and unexpectedly, brought me presents... the latest issue of Anan and June's issue of GQ...
I like the pictures taken for GQ... somehow, to me, COOL has been redefined. ^ v ^
As for Anan... ~~~kyaaa~~~ ... Ohno has such an adorable face and that *wink* ... if Jun is the epitome of sexy, when he winks, then, Ohno, would in a way, epitomises cute, with his wink.... How I wish I was near to a scanner now!! I would really love to scan that picture and include it in this entry right now, then to wait for later, when I get home. ~~~arghhhh~~~ I need to scheme, and find a way to get meself a scanner right next to me desk... =p

Heard from shokim yesterday morning, that SMAP will be conducting their first overseas concert in Shanghai's World Expo on 13 June 2010. A quick check on the website confirmed it. But unlike usual JE concerts, this one will only last 90mins and tickets are FREE! (I wonder how much they are paying Uncle Johnny for this deal... that or Uncle is really desperate to gain a foot-hold in China and what better way than to do at World Epxo,,,) ... Mel is due to give birth in June and while we both think it would be interesting - having SMAP stop the concert to help her deliver - the logistics and the news coverage would be too much to handle =p, plus SC would probably think the two of us as being unsound of mind... Also, I am not that enthusiastic about having to join a queue comprising predominantly of mainlanders - I am not zenophobic, non anti-mainlanders, but being in a queue with them... sigh... I have experienced before - plus, all hotel rates have gone sky-high because of the Expo, and I really do not want to trouble GL, even though I am quite certain she would not mind me staying at her place.

In other news (hahaha I really wanted to use this phrase), as reported by matsubunny , sales of the 5x10 Anniversary Tour has been doing really well, passing the 600k mark... now I wonder if this will be the DVD to pass the 1 million mark? I do hope it will be!!
That would make their 11th year just as special as their 10th and just as lively as the 9th... for like what Ohno had mentioned once. When everyone is gearing up for the 10th year, the 9th looks and feels kinda of lonely, and he had hoped for many more things for the 9th year... similiarly, after the bang and the bash of the 10th year, the 11th, would naturally be quiet... and it might just be lonely, for all we know... so, it would be nice and fitting to have just as much to celebrate in the 11th year...
A new Mario Kart CM was released yesterday ^ v ^... I am getting to like this MatsuMiya pairing... but some parts of my heart aches for other ~~Miya pairings... I would love to see a SakuMiya and a MasaMiya... I was tempted to rant about it on FB, but was "worried" about someone rushing off to buy me the game ^o^ HL saw my previous status update and had taken the effort to find out what it was =p, before learning that all Japanese games are region locked and I might not be able to play it on my Wii console ...

I finally managed to do dinner with Yuko and Isumi, plus their families, before Yuko jets off for her two weeks holiday in Europe (hoshi!!!)... it was a fun dinner... and I managed to learn more about the slingbox thingy, which is really worthy of do more indepth checks into, given that it will benefit not just me, but also Isumi, Yuko and probably a dozen or more so people... Will just have to wait patiently for Yuko to come back from her holiday (hoshi!!!)

My May schedule is looking rather packed now, and the slots in the later part of the year, are also starting to fill themselves up. While there are no major meetings, except for a trip to Australia, there are quite a number of small but nonetheless, complicated events here and there. Well, at least I am going to be pretty much occupied, and that is good. Furthermore Min has promised to help me organise my HDDs, which after the 2 challenge weeks, are all in one huge big mess, during her semester break... so that is good...
Guess all I have to wait for now, is for the Storm to announce if they are doing concerts these years and find my way to one of them, whether in Japan or somewhere in Asia... =p
